That Kyle Larson, he’s a good boy, but he got a big problem at that Pocono race. He got a penalty, a big one, for going too fast on the pit lane. That’s a no-no, you know? That speeding, it messed him up real good. He was doing so well, then bam! Penalty. It’s like when you’re cooking a big pot of stew and you forget the salt. Ruined the whole thing. He was trying to win the whole dang thing. Now he is way back, gotta work extra hard now.

He said that Denny Hamlin, that other fella, he used him up. Said that was the only way that Joe Gibbs Racing guy could beat him. Sounds like sour grapes to me. Everyone’s trying to win, ain’t they? Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin at Pocono Raceway, that’s where all this fuss happened. They always bumpin’ and bangin’ each other.
That Pocono penalty, it came out of nowhere, like a rabbit from a hat. Even though Kyle is a good driver, been around a long time, he didn’t see it coming. You think you’re doing everything right, then bam! Surprise! Life’s like that sometimes. You gotta watch out, stay on your toes.
He was only P13, not good enough for Kyle. That boy likes to win. He should be winnin’ all the time. That race was a missed opportunity. That means it coulda, shoulda been better. He could have won that race, but he didn’t. Now he’s gonna be thinkin’ about that one for a while. That is a bummer, you know?
Remember that time Bubba Wallace wrecked him on purpose? That was at Las Vegas. That was a mess. They don’t like each other, those two. Always causing trouble. I remember that clear as day. It was just like yesterday.
And then he crashed at Pocono, right when he was about to win. Can you believe that? Right at the end, leading the whole race, and then boom! Crashed. Oh, that’s a heartbreaker. That’s like dropping your whole pie right before you get to the table. He lost the race because of that crash. The crash messed him up real good.

That Kyle Larson, he’s making a lot of money. They say $8 million, just for driving that No. 5 car. It is a Hendrick Motorsports car. That’s a lot of dough. I could buy a whole lot of chickens with that kind of money. He’s famous, all over the world they know him. But that don’t mean he’s the richest one, though.
He’s got a little girl, Audrey. She’s his second kid. Born before they got married, I think. She’s got that Alopecia, poor thing. That means she’s losing her hair. It’s a shame, but she’s a sweet girl. Kids are always getting sick, it’s part of life.
- He won a lot this year, six races I think.
- He was real good at Bristol. Won that night race.
- He’s been driving since 2014, started with Chip Ganassi Racing.
- He’s won 29 of them Cup races.
- He’s in them NASCAR Playoffs most years.
- First win for Hendrick was at Las Vegas, back in 2021.
- He also won one in 2019.
Kyle Larson, he’s a good driver, but he’s had a rough patch. That Pocono penalty really set him back. He’s gonna have to work hard to catch up. But he’s a fighter, that one. He’ll be back. He ain’t gonna let this get him down for too long. He’s gonna keep on racing, that’s what he does. And that is all I know. Racing is like life, full of up and downs, you just need to keep going.
