Just Got 40 Points? See If Its Good or Bad (Quick Guide)

Today I was bored, so I decided to play around with a grade calculator thingy. The goal was to reach 40 points, which seems simple enough, right? Well, it turned out to be a bit more involved than I thought.

Just Got 40 Points? See If Its Good or Bad (Quick Guide)

First, I found this online tool. It looked pretty straightforward. You just punch in the number of questions and how many you got wrong, and boom, it spits out your score. I entered that I had 40 questions in total, thinking that would be my target.

  • Started the test: Initially, I randomly answered questions without much thought, just to see what would happen.

My initial results were all over the place. Sometimes I’d get close to 40, sometimes I’d be way off. It was a bit frustrating, to be honest. I mean, it’s just a simple online calculator, but I really wanted to hit that 40 mark consistently.

  • Adjusted my approach: I started paying more attention to the questions, trying to figure out a pattern or a strategy. It wasn’t easy, and I still wasn’t hitting 40 points reliably.
  • Kept experimenting: I tried different combinations of right and wrong answers. I’d get 30 right, 10 wrong, then 25 right, 15 wrong, and so on. The calculator kept giving me different scores, but none were exactly 40.

After a few more failed attempts, I stumbled upon the setting for using weighted averages on the test calculator. I set 40 points as the target and after a few tests, I finally did it.

  • Got the result: Finally, I saw the number 40 on the screen. It was a small victory, but it felt good.

In the end, I realized that reaching exactly 40 points wasn’t as easy as it seemed. It required a bit of trial and error and some strategic guessing. But hey, I got there eventually. It was a fun little experiment, and it definitely made my afternoon a bit more interesting.
