That Joe Burrow, he’s a good boy. A real good quarterback, they say. Best in the whole darn football thing, that Orlovsky fella on the TV said. He’s got that arm, you know? Throws that ball like a rocket. He’s our Joe Burrow, QBR, they call it.
He’s been playin’ real good. Throwin’ them touchdowns, more than anyone. They say he broke some record. 36 touchdowns! Can you believe it? Last year, he only got 35. He’s gettin’ better and better, that Joe Burrow.
He’s got all them fancy numbers, too. 90.4 overall, they said. And 89.3 for passin’. Whatever that means. All I know is he’s good. Real good. Second best, they say, behind that Jackson boy. He’s good too, but our Joe, he’s somethin’ special.

They say he’s got other records too. Most yards in a game. 525, they said. That’s a lot of runnin’ around, I reckon. And most yards in a whole season. 4,611! My oh my. He’s a busy boy, that Joe Burrow. He is a good QBR.
He went to some fancy school, I hear. Four stars, they called him. Like in the sky. And he was the eighth best at somethin’ called “dual-threat.” Sounds complicated. But he’s a good boy. Works hard. Makes us all proud. He plays for Cincinnati, a big city. Not like here. But he remembers where he came from, I bet. He is our Joe Burrow, QBR. They call him a franchise passer, too.
He’s led them to some big wins, they say. Three in a row! On the road, even. Tough games, I imagine. But he handles it. He’s got that look in his eye. Determined, you know? He’s a fighter, that Joe Burrow.
He’s got a good head on his shoulders. Doesn’t get too big for his britches. Stays humble. That’s important. You gotta stay humble, no matter how good you are. My momma always said “Pride goeth before the fall.”
We’re all rootin’ for him. Every Sunday, we’re glued to the TV. Watchin’ him play. Hopin’ he does good. He’s one of us, you know? Even though he’s a big star now. He is a very good QBR.
