Okay, so today I decided to dig into Isaiah Pineiro’s stats. It all started because I was watching some basketball highlights, and this guy’s name kept popping up. I was like, “Who is this dude, and is he actually any good?” So, naturally, I went down the rabbit hole.

My first move was to hit up the usual spots. You know, just tried to look it up in the general web and see what would pop up. Honestly, it’s kind of a mess out there. There are so many sites, and it’s hard to know which ones are legit and up-to-date.
Getting Down to the Numbers
After some digging, I got my hand on some of the more reliable main sites with stats. I started looking at some basic numbers, and here is what I found:
- Points Per Game (PPG): This gives you a good sense of how much he’s scoring on average.
- Rebounds Per Game (RPG): Important, especially if he’s playing a forward or center position.
- Assists Per Game (APG): Shows his ability to pass and set up teammates.
- Field Goal Percentage (FG%): How efficiently he’s scoring from the field.
- Three-Point Percentage (3P%): Crucial in today’s game, shows his outside shooting ability.
- Free Throw Percentage (FT%): Shows his ability with free throws.
Analyzing and making some sense
I am still putting together what I thought of all the numbers, making a chart and then taking some notes to the side to see if I can get any insights. Numbers are cool but also the context behind them.

But it didn’t stop there. I wanted to see how he performed in different leagues and seasons, to see if there were any trends. I had to jump between a few sites to get a complete picture, which was a bit of a pain, but hey, that’s how it goes.
This whole thing made me realize how much data is actually out there. It’s kind of overwhelming, but it’s also pretty cool to be able to track a player’s performance like this. I’m definitely going to keep following Pineiro’s stats to see how he progresses!
