Is unstoppable colossus hard to beat? Weakness and winning tricks inside!

Okay so I gotta tell ya about this game boss that nearly broke my controllers – twice. I’m talkin’ that big stompy Unstoppable Colossus thing. Looked like a walking mountain with laser eyes? Yeah that jerk. Kept smashing my little character into pixie dust every dang time. Almost rage-quit for good after the fifth crushing defeat.

The First Few Tries Were Rough

Fired up the game feeling confident. Ran straight at it swinging my biggest sword. SMASH. Game over screen before I even blinked. Reloaded, tried dodging left. ZAP. Laser fried me like cheap bacon. Next try I hid behind rocks thinking “smart!”… then the damn thing just kicked the whole rock pile at me. CRUNCH. Felt so stupid.

Switched weapons maybe fifty times? Heavy hammer? Too slow, got stepped on. Fast dagger? Barely scratched its ankle. Tried magic fireballs like I was playing wizard ping-pong. Useless. Its health bar didn’t even budge. Seriously started thinking maybe the game was busted.

That “Duh!” Lightbulb Moment

Took a break. Seriously. Made a coffee, tripped over my kid’s toy dinosaur on the floor. Then it clicked. This thing? It moved just like that cheap plastic toy – stiff, slow turns, couldn’t handle quick circles. Went back to the game, eyes wide open now.

Spent one whole fight just running laps around it, no attacking, just watching its feet. Noticed something huge:

  • Its left leg always dragged a fraction slower after stomping.
  • That laser eye shot needed a full 3-second charge and it aimed only straight forward.
  • Rocks near its feet actually got stuck under its toes like stupid little wedges.

Suddenly didn’t feel so hopeless.

Putting the Puzzle Pieces Together

Next run was all about the dance. Kept sticking close to its left leg, circling counter-clockwise. Every time it lifted that leg to stomp? I hacked at the ankle joint like I was chopping wood. Two quick strikes, then dodge roll away before it shook its leg. Rinse and repeat.

When it paused to charge the laser eye? Booked it behind rocks on purpose. Not to hide, no. Tricked it into kicking the big rocks into its own path. Saw it stumble trying to walk over them! Laughed so loud my wife yelled from the next room.

Took maybe ten minutes of careful ankle-chopping and rock-kicking. Barely even dodged lasers anymore cause it couldn’t aim fast enough. Saw that massive health bar finally shrinking… slowly. Kept focused. No big hero swings. Just patience and wailing on that bad ankle.

The Payoff Felt So Good

Heard that final groan. Saw it wobble. Flashed red! Charged in with everything I had. Sword glowed as I stabbed right where its weak spot finally revealed – a stupid glowing gem under the chin! Whole thing crumbled. Victory screen! Almost threw the controller in triumph. Worth every failure just to feel that.

So yeah. That’s the trick. It ain’t about hitting hard first. It’s about watching the stupid thing stumble like a baby giraffe on ice and kicking rocks at it like a playground bully. Who knew?
