How to Watch Wrestling Smackdown 2024 Matches? (Easy Ways to Get Full Access to Every Single Fight!)

Okay, so, I tried to catch the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown, the 2024 edition. I’ve been trying to keep up with WWE, you know, it’s a bit of a guilty pleasure.

First off, I had to figure out where to watch it. It’s not as simple as it used to be! I remember the days when you could just flip on the TV and there it was. Now, it’s all about streaming services and different channels. After a bit of digging around, I found out that this one was going to be on the USA Network. 8 p.m. EST, sharp. But I also read that it might be on Peacock, or Fubo TV, or even YouTube TV – it’s a bit of a mess, really.

Anyway, I got my snacks ready, settled into my couch, and started watching. I saw that there was a match between Naomi, Bianca Belair, Bayley, and the WWE Women’s Champion, Nia Jax. I don’t really know any of these names, but it sounded cool.

  • Figuring out the channel: This was the first hurdle. It seems like every time I want to watch something, it’s on a different platform.
  • Setting up: Got my snacks, got comfortable, and made sure I was on the right channel at the right time.
  • Watching the match: The match was pretty intense. Lots of action, lots of drama. I don’t really follow the storylines, but it’s still fun to watch.
  • Checking out other options: After the match, I did a bit more reading and realized there are a bunch of ways to watch WWE now. Peacock seems to be the main place, but there are others like Fubo TV and Hulu+ Live TV.

The Aftermath

So, yeah, that was my experience trying to watch SmackDown 2024. It’s not as straightforward as it used to be, but I guess that’s just the way things are now with all these streaming services. I’ll probably keep watching, though. It’s a fun way to unwind, even if I don’t know all the wrestlers or keep up with all the drama.

It said something about Chelsea Green having her first Women’s United States Title defense against someone named Michin, which also sounded pretty interesting. Maybe I’ll try to catch that next time.

I just signed up for Peacock Premium. Supposedly it has access to all WWE Premium Live Events, plus original series and a bunch of old stuff, according to what I read. We’ll see how that goes. Might be worth it just for the convenience.

All in all, it was an experience. If you’re into WWE, it might be worth checking out some of these streaming options. Just be prepared for a bit of a headache figuring out where everything is!
