Okay, so today I wanted to watch the Pelicans vs. Thunder game. I’m a huge basketball fan, and these two teams have been playing really well lately. So I was super excited to catch the action live.

First, I grabbed my phone and opened up my usual sports app. Nothing. Just scores from yesterday’s games. Hmm, that’s weird.
Next, I fired up my laptop and went to the league’s official website. I figured they’d have a link to a live stream or something. I clicked around, browsed through a few menus…still nothing that showed me how to watch it live.
Then I remembered my buddy telling me about a streaming service he uses. I texted him, “Hey, what’s that streaming thing you use for games?” He replied pretty quickly, thank goodness!
I downloaded the app he recommended, signed up for a free trial , and boom! There it was, the Pelicans vs. Thunder game, ready to go. I hit play, settled back on the couch, and finally got to watch the game.
What I leaned
- My usual sports app is good for scores, bad for live games.
- The offical website had a lot going on, but live streaming was hard to find.
- Texting a friend can be the fast way.
- That new streaming service, pretty cool!
It took a few extra steps, but I got there in the end. Go Pelicans… or Thunder… whoever wins, it was a good game!
