Alright, so I was trying to catch the Brazil vs. Uruguay match the other day. Figured it’d be a good one, you know, two big South American teams going at it. So, first thing I did was to check if any of the usual TV channels were showing it.

Turns out, in Australia, of all places, SBS Viceland was the channel to watch. But I’m not in Australia, so that didn’t really help me much. I thought, “Okay, maybe there’s another channel here that’s got it.” I did a bit more digging around, trying to find out where I could watch these guys play. It’s a World Cup qualifier, after all, so it’s kind of a big deal.
I found out that there are a bunch of ways to watch it. Like, there’s this thing called Fubo where you can supposedly watch it for free. I thought, “Sweet, a free trial!” But I’m always a bit skeptical about these free trials, you know? They always want your credit card info and stuff.
- Tried looking for the game on TV.
- Found it was on SBS Viceland in Australia.
- Looked for other ways to watch since I’m not in Australia.

Then there was something about watching it on UNIVERSO. I wasn’t too sure about that one either. I mean, I just wanted to watch the game without jumping through hoops, signing up for this and that. There was another one called Fanatiz, which sounded promising. They said it was a live stream, so I thought, “Maybe this is the one.”
I also heard something about watching it on DirecTV Stream, ViX, or Sling TV, and I was like, “Man, they’re really making this complicated, aren’t they?” I even heard there’s no direct live stream in India, which is a bummer for fans there. But I did see that you could follow live updates on some website. At least that’s something, I guess. I found out the game was being played at some place called Estadio Centenario. Sounds fancy.
- Looked into Fubo, UNIVERSO, and Fanatiz.
- Also found options like DirecTV Stream, ViX, and Sling TV.
- Got a bit overwhelmed with all the choices.
So, yeah, that was my little adventure trying to watch the Brazil vs. Uruguay match. It turned out to be way more complicated than I thought it would be. You’d think they’d make it easier to watch these games, right? Anyway, I did manage to find a way to stream it and enjoyed the game in the end. It was a good match!

Oh, and by the way, if you are in Australia, you can catch it on TV on SBS Viceland. Lucky you!
