Alright, so I wanted to get a better handle on using commands in Terraria. I’d messed around with them a bit before, but never really got it, you know? So, I decided to dive in properly today.

Getting Started
First things first, I fired up Terraria. I figured the best way to learn was by doing, so I created a new, small world – didn’t want anything too crazy while I was experimenting. I also made a new character, just in case I accidentally messed something up.
Experimenting with Basic Commands
Once I was in the game, I pressed the Enter key to open up the chat window. That’s where you type in all the commands. I started with some of the basics, like:
- /help – This one’s a lifesaver. It gives you a list of all the available commands, which is super handy when you’re starting out and your memory is not reliable, haha.
 - /playing – Shows you who else is on the server (though I was playing solo this time).
 - /me [action] – Lets you do emotes, like “/me dances” or “/me waves”. Silly, but fun.
 - /roll– it displays a random number 1-100.

God Mode and Beyond
Then I got a little more adventurous. I tried out:
- /godmode – Oh yeah, this is where it gets fun. Makes you completely invincible. I spawned a bunch of bosses and just laughed as they couldn’t hurt me.

I spend most of the time fooling around with /godmode,It’s so funny and interesting when I found myself becomes invincible.
Wrapping Up
I didn’t go through every single command, but I got a good feel for the basics and how to use them. I think the key is just experimenting and not being afraid to mess up. Plus, that /help command is always there if you get stuck. Next time, I might try messing around with some of the server admin commands, that could be interesting…or a total disaster, we’ll see!
