Okay, so here’s how I tried those cheat modes for 7 Days to Die, ’cause man, those blood moons kept wrecking my base like clockwork. Started by just googling “7dtd cheat commands” while drinking coffee, real casual-like. Found some forum threads with lists, copied ’em all into a sticky note on my desktop. Looked messy, but hey, whatever works.

Turning Cheats On First
Had to enable cheats before anything. Launched the game, hopped into my save file where zombies were already sniffin’ around. Pressed F1 to open the console – little black box at the bottom. Typed “cm” and hit enter. Screen blinked, no message or anything. Paused, sweated a bit ’cause I thought I broke it. Reloaded the save, tried again. This time it worked, I guess? Game didn’t yell at me, so I figured we’re good.
Spawning Stuff Like Crazy
First thing I wanted? A big fat gun. Typed “dm” in console for debug mode. Still nothing popped up. Got annoyed, mashed U on the keyboard instead. Boom! Creative menu slides open full of icons. Felt like cheating Christmas. Scrolled through, clicked on an M60 machine gun, some ammo boxes, and just for laughs, spawned a minibike right inside my shack. Almost clipped through the wall, had to drag it outside.
- Gave myself 999,999 experience points with exp command
- Teleported to a trader using teleport coords
- Toggled god mode typing god
Zombies tried biting me later. Just stood there laughing as they wailed on my invincible butt.
Flying Around Like a Ghost
Pressed K to toggle flying. Whoa. Camera swooped up like I’m Superman. Zipped over forests, looked down at cities. Spotted a hardware store roof, landed on it like some post-apocalyptic pigeon. Collected all the duct tape from shelves without even opening doors. Felt awesome for two minutes… then boring. No danger, y’know?
Why I Probably Won’t Stick With It
Played like this for an hour. Smashed through buildings with fists on god mode, spawned 50 bears just to watch them ragdoll. Silly fun, but empty? Felt like watching someone else play. Turned cheats off next session. Game immediately murdered me with a vulture. For some reason… felt more alive that way. Cheats? Good for goofing off. Terrible for actually feeling anything when you survive.
