Okay, so today’s little project is called “slide motorcycle.” Sounds cool, right? Let me tell you how I went about it.

First off, I got my bike out of the garage. It’s a pretty standard street bike, nothing fancy. I made sure the tires were properly inflated – that’s kind of important for this stuff.
Next, I found a nice, empty parking lot. You really don’t want to try this with cars or people around. Safety first, you know? I started off slow, just getting a feel for the bike and how it handled at low speeds.
Then, I started practicing some turns. I leaned into them, trying to get the bike to tilt a bit. I was definitely going slow at this point. I’d say that you must do so to protect yourself from crashing.
A Little More Gas
- I gradually increased my speed as I got more comfortable.
- I started twisting the throttle a little more as I entered the turns.
- I could feel the rear tire starting to lose grip a little bit. It was a weird, but kind of cool, sensation.
The Actual Slide
This is where it gets tricky. As the tire started to slip, I eased off the throttle. It felt like the natural thing to do. I didn’t want to give it too much gas and lose control completely. I kept practicing this, over and over.
Slowly but surely, I started to get a feel for it. I could get the bike to slide a little, and then I brought it back under control. It wasn’t a huge, dramatic slide, but it was definitely a slide.

Wrapping Up
This took a lot of practice, and honestly, I’m still not very good at it. But it’s a fun thing to try, and it definitely teaches you a lot about how your bike handles. Just remember to be safe, take it slow, and practice in a controlled environment. It really took me a few hours to make it. I am so exhausted!
