I started playing PokRogue the other day, it’s pretty fun, you know? It’s like those classic Pokemon games but with a rogue-like twist. Anyway, I got hooked on this “Golden Punch” thing and wanted to share my experience.

So, I started a new run, like I always do, just messing around with different Pokemon. I noticed this “Golden Punch” item kept popping up. It’s supposed to turn some of the damage you deal into money. Sounds cool, right? 50% of the HP that you deal to your opponent turns into money. Seemed like an interesting way to rake in some cash.
I picked a Pokemon that I thought would be good for this strategy, you know, one that hits hard and often. I decided to prioritize getting “Golden Punch” as soon as possible. I also learned that items like “Multi-Lens,” “King’s Rock,” and “Grip Claw” are good to have alongside it. Makes sense, more hits, more damage, more money.
I went through a few runs, and man, it’s not as easy as it sounds. You gotta balance getting those key items with, well, surviving. There’s a lot of other trainers and tough Pokemon out there. It took a few tries, but I finally managed to get a decent run going with “Golden Punch” and some of those other items.
- First, I focused on clearing the classic mode. You gotta do that at least once to unlock the endless mode, which is where the real fun begins.
- Then, in endless mode, I started grinding. It gets tough, man, but I was raking in the dough with “Golden Punch.”
- I kept pushing, trying to see how far I could go. Each level has like 10 battles, and some of them are pretty intense.
I learned a few things along the way. One, you really need those other items to make “Golden Punch” work well. Two, you gotta be smart about which Pokemon you use. And three, endless mode is no joke. It goes on forever, well, until wave 5850 it says: “Congratulations on reaching the current end!”
Eventually, I got a pretty good run going. I had “Golden Punch,” “Multi-Lens,” and a few other goodies. I was rolling in cash, let me tell you. I think I even saw a few shiny Pokemon along the way, but I was too focused on the money to care, haha. I’ve had 5 multi lenses, 6 master balls, 3 shiny charms in one run, and it was wild.
I made it pretty far in endless mode, further than I thought I would, to be honest. I didn’t reach the end, though. I think it goes up to like wave 5850 or something crazy like that. But hey, I had a blast, and I’m definitely going to try again.
So yeah, that’s my “Golden Punch” story. It’s a fun item to build around, but it’s not a guaranteed win. You gotta be smart, a little lucky, and persistent. If you’re playing PokRogue, give it a shot! But be warned, it’s addictive!
Some Tips
- Focus on getting “Golden Punch” early.
- Prioritize items like “Multi-Lens,” “King’s Rock,” and “Grip Claw.”
- Choose a Pokemon that hits hard and often.
- Don’t be afraid to experiment!
- Be patient. It might take a few runs to get it right.
- Have fun! It is just a game.
Alright, that’s all I’ve got for now. I might post an update if I ever reach the end of endless mode with this strategy. Until then, happy gaming!
