Getting My Gallade – The Grind Was Real
Alright, so I decided I needed a Gallade on my team. You know, that cool Psychic/Fighting dude. Seemed like a solid choice, different from the usual stuff I run. So, the mission started: evolve to Gallade.
First thing, gotta get a Kirlia. But not just any Kirlia, right? It has to be a male one. Seriously, why make it so specific? Took me ages wandering around in the grass trying to find a Ralts. Found plenty of females, lovely little things, but not what I needed for Gallade. Finally, after what felt like forever, a male Ralts popped up. Caught that little guy quick.
Okay, step one done. Then came the leveling. Ralts is kinda fragile, you know? Had to baby it a bit in battles, swapping it out. Eventually, it hit the level and bam, evolved into Kirlia. Progress! Still male, checked that about ten times. Don’t want to mess this up.
Now, the real headache: the Dawn Stone. These evolution stones can be a pain to track down. It’s not like you just buy them easily early on, depending on where you are. I spent a good while searching. Explored some caves, talked to random NPCs hoping for a clue. Honestly, felt like I was looking for treasure without a map. There were times I thought, maybe Gardevoir is fine? But no, I had my mind set on Gallade.
Found one eventually! It was tucked away somewhere unexpected, almost missed it. Felt like striking gold. Finally got the stupid stone.
So, moment of truth. Got my male Kirlia ready. Opened the bag, selected the Dawn Stone. There’s always that little pause, right? Like, ‘here we go’. Used the stone on him.
The evolution sequence kicked in. Pretty cool to watch, gotta admit. And there he was, Gallade. Looked awesome with those arm blades. Felt good, you know? Like all that running around and specific searching actually paid off.
Been using him in battles since. He pulls his weight, that Psychic/Fighting combo is pretty useful. Definitely worth the trouble, even if finding that male Ralts and the Dawn Stone made me want to pull my hair out sometimes. But hey, that’s how it goes when you want something specific, right? You just gotta grind it out.
