Alright so yesterday I was trying to get into Gerudo Town in Breath of the Wild, right? Total pain in the butt. Seriously, those guards wouldn’t let me anywhere near the gate without that stupid disguise. Spent ages wandering around that freakin’ desert like an idiot. Every time I walked up, boom: “Voe not allowed!” Drove me nuts.
My Dumb Attempts First
First thing I did? Tried walking straight up like I owned the place. Obviously didn’t work. Got yelled at. Then I thought, maybe sneaking at night? Nope. Guards got eagle eyes. Tried climbing the walls – sand makes you slide down, super annoying. Fell on my face like three times. Found the front entrance again, still blocked. Felt stuck.
Stumbling On The Trick
Totally by accident, I noticed something. Was wandering around the cliffs BEHIND the town, kinda lost and kinda pissed off. Saw this specific spot – looked climbable? Figured “what the heck” and started scrambling up. Needed stamina food, ate like three Endura Carrots cooked together. Climbed higher… still no idea if this would work.
The Actual Climb (It’s Messy)
Okay, follow this:
- Fast travel to the Wasteland Tower if you have it. Saves time.
- Glide down northwest towards the backside of Gerudo Town. See those big tan cliffs? Aim for those.
- Land near the base. You’ll see kinda this shallow slope. Start climbing where it looks least steep – about in the middle of the cliff face behind the town.
- Mash that climb button. Use your stamina wisely! Seriously, eat something or wear the Climber’s Gear if you got it early.
- Got about three-quarters up? You’ll see this ledge sticking out a bit. Jump onto it. Rest here if you’re panting.
- One more climb push to the top. Boom. You’re standing above the whole freakin’ town.
Dropping In Like A Boss
Now just glide straight down into the town center. Landed right by the chief’s place. Not a single guard stopped me, didn’t need that stupid Gerudo outfit at all! Felt amazing. No messing about with finding the secret club, no rupees spent, no hassle. Just pure shortcut.
Tried it twice to make sure it wasn’t dumb luck. Worked both times. Totally legit. Skip all that disguise nonsense if you just wanna get inside quick for quests or shops. Saves so much time! Haha!
