Tackling That Beast: 17-30
Alright, so I finally sat down and really went for it on 17-30 in Cookie Run Kingdom. Been putting it off for a bit, heard it was a tough one. And yeah, it kinda was.

First few tries? Total wipeout. Didn’t even get close. I was running my usual team, the one that got me through most of world 17, but they just melted. That big shadowy dude hits hard, man. And those annoying little guys that swarm you? Forget about it.
My Process, Sort Of
So, I did what everyone does, right? Looked around to see what other folks were using. Saw a lot of different ideas. Some needed cookies I hadn’t built up yet, which is always annoying. You know, that feeling of hitting a wall not because you can’t play, but because you haven’t ground out the right characters? Hate that.
Anyway, I messed around with my lineup. Tried swapping healers, tanks, damage dealers. Spent a good chunk of time just trying different combinations. Here’s what I think I tried, mostly failed attempts:
- First attempt: My standard story team. Got wrecked.
- Second attempt: Swapped in a different healer. Still got wrecked.
- Third attempt: Focused heavy on damage. Died faster. Whoops.
- Fourth, fifth, sixth… lots of little tweaks. More wrecking.
It was getting frustrating. You sit there, watching the same defeat screen over and over. Makes you question your life choices, haha. Spending an evening getting beaten up by digital cookies.

Finally Getting It Done
Eventually, I landed on a team that felt a bit better. I think it was something like Hollyberry, Wildberry, Eclair, Cotton, and Pure Vanilla. Standard stuff maybe, but getting the timing right on the skills was key. And the treasures, had to use the scroll, watch, and maybe the feather? Or the horn? I swapped those around a bit too.
The run that finally worked wasn’t even clean. It was messy. Hollyberry almost went down a couple of times. Had to time Cotton’s sheep and PV’s shield just right when the big attacks came. Used Wildberry and Eclair to keep chipping away and weaken the boss. It felt like it took forever, just watching the health bars slowly go down.
When the boss finally died? Big sigh of relief. Didn’t even jump up and cheer, just kinda slumped back. Done. Finally.
It’s funny, the amount of effort for just… one more level cleared. You spend hours sometimes, tweaking teams, leveling skills, just for that little “Victory” screen. Guess it’s the challenge, right? But man, sometimes I think back on all the hours sunk into games like this. Could’ve learned piano or something. Nah, who am I kidding, beating 17-30 feels better right now.
