My Gojo Cool Project Log
Alright, so I got this idea buzzing around in my head the other day. Been watching some Jujutsu Kaisen, you know? And Gojo, man, that guy’s just… cool. So I thought, why not try and make something? Just capture that vibe. Called the little project folder on my desktop “gojo cool”. Seemed fitting.

First thing, I just sorta sat there for a bit. What makes him cool? Is it the blindfold? The crazy powers? That kinda laid-back attitude even when things are nuts? Decided I wanted to focus on the eyes, maybe that whole Domain Expansion feeling, but keep it simple.
Getting Started
So, I grabbed my old drawing tablet, dusted it off a bit. Plugged it in, fired up the software I usually fiddle with. Nothing too fancy, just the basics. Didn’t need a million brushes or effects, just wanted to get the idea down.
Started sketching. Just loose lines at first. Trying to get the head shape, the angle. Messed up the hair quite a bit. You know how spiky it is? Yeah, lots of erasing happened there. Just trying to get that basic Gojo silhouette down.
Working Through It

Decided against the blindfold. Gotta show the eyes, right? That’s where the cool factor really hits. Spent a good while just on the eyes. Getting that bright, kinda glowing blue. Mixed a few colours, layered them up. Still not sure it’s perfect, but it felt pretty close to what I pictured.
- Tried getting the shape right.
- Focused on that specific blue color.
- Added a bit of a glow effect, simple stuff.
Then moved on to the rest. Filled in the hair, the skin tone. Kept the colours pretty flat at first. Then I went back in and added some basic shadows. Nothing too complicated, just enough to give it some shape, make it not look totally flat. Didn’t want it looking like some super-rendered thing, just clean and, well, cool.
Hitting Snags
Getting the expression right was tough. Sometimes he looked kinda bored, other times just angry. Took a few redraws of the mouth and eyebrows to get that slightly smug, confident look he has. The hair continued to be a pain, honestly. Just kept tweaking the spikes until they looked less like a mess and more like actual hair.
The Final Look
After a while, I felt like it was getting there. Added a really simple background, just a dark blue gradient, maybe some blurry light effects? Didn’t want anything distracting. Just something to make him stand out. Looked it over, zoomed in, zoomed out. Flipped the canvas back and forth to check for weirdness.

And yeah, that was basically it. Saved the file. Stared at it for a bit. Pretty happy with how it turned out, considering I was just messing around. It’s my little “gojo cool” thing. Not gonna win any awards, but I made it, and it felt good to get that idea out of my head and onto the screen. Captures that vibe I was going for, I think. Job done.
