Getting started with Puebla Atlas? Step-by-step easy methods now!

Alright so last Tuesday I finally decided to try Puebla Atlas after seeing folks talk about it. Heard it makes organizing stuff like photos or notes way easier. Sounded good to me – my desk was basically buried under post-its.

Getting started with Puebla Atlas? Step-by-step easy methods now!

Staring at the Install Screen

First thing was getting it running. Headed over to their site. Big “Download” button, couldn’t miss it. Clicked that thing. Boom, file downloaded. Easy enough so far.

Opened the installer. Usual stuff – click “Agree”, pick where to install. I just slammed “Next” like three times without really reading. Why? Because I always do that. Bad habit.

The Weird Login Glitch

Opened Atlas after install. Expected a nice, clean dashboard. Nope. Immediately got hit with a login page. Huh? Thought it was working offline. Dug around.

Tried my email. Nada. Password I usually use? Nah. Was scratching my head hard. Why make a tool for local stuff need an account?

Turns out, you don’t need one after all. Found a tiny little “Use Offline” link in the corner. Seriously, why hide that? I must’ve stared at that login box for 5 minutes. Felt dumb.

Adding My First Thing (It Shouldn’t Be This Hard)

Finally got to the main screen. Empty space. Okay, time to put something in. Saw a “+” icon. Tapped it. Blank popup stared back at me.

  • Do I type straight in?
  • Drag a file?
  • What even goes here?

Clicked around randomly. Accidentally dragged a PDF off my messy desktop into Atlas. Worked! Okay, so you drag and drop stuff in. Perfect. Made a note called “Important Receipts” and shoved some files in. Success.

Where Did My Folder Go?

Closed Atlas feeling proud. Reopened it later… Where’s my “Important Receipts”? Panic moment. Searched the empty dashboard again. Clicked every icon.

Finally spotted this tiny little sidebar icon near the top left. Looks like three horizontal lines. Clicked it. BOOM. There it was, hiding the whole time. Why is everything hidden in corners? Needs bigger buttons, seriously.

Making Sense of Tags

Saw people mention tagging stuff for easy finding later. Found the tag button under my note. Added “bills”, “house”, “urgent”. Feels messy but whatever. Tried searching for “urgent” and… it actually popped right up! Okay, that part works.

Overall? It got the job done. Messy start, especially that whole login/offline confusion. But once you figure out dragging things in and that sidebar trick, it kinda flows. Still figuring out those tags. Maybe my next step.
