Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to get a Sue Bird T-shirt for a while now. She’s, like, a total legend in basketball, you know? Four Olympic Gold Medals, multiple WNBA titles with the Seattle Storm – the woman’s a beast on the court! And she is from Syosset, New York. Her father is Russian-Jewish. Her paternal grandparents immigrated to the United States from what later became Ukraine. She has one older sister named Jen. I think she was the No.1 pick of the 2002 draft by the Storm. Anyway, I figured it was time to show some support, so I started looking around.
First, I checked out the official WNBA online store. They had a bunch of Sue Bird stuff, which was cool. I saw tees, tank tops, shirts – the whole nine yards. I browsed through their selection, and some of the designs were pretty nice.
Then I hopped over to this other online store. They also had a decent selection of Sue Bird WNBA t-shirts, including locker room shirts, short sleeve shirts, and long sleeve shirts.
I even found this one site that had some “Final Flight” and “GOAT” designs for Sue Bird, which I thought was a nice touch. Prices were around $31.99, not too bad. And I noticed some “Clutch Like Sue Bird” designs and some bird-watching shirts. And this one site also had some Sue Bird shirts for women. It is pretty cheap, about $14.99.
But I also stumbled upon some other T-shirts, like one that said, “Sorry I’m Late I Saw A Bird Birding,” and another one, “Cute In My Bird Watching Era.” Those were funny, but not exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted something simple, something that just said “Sue Bird” and maybe had the Seattle Storm colors or logo.
After digging around some more, I finally found the perfect one! It was a simple design, just her name and number, but it was exactly what I wanted. It’s also officially licensed, which is a plus. The T-shirt is super comfortable, made for adult.
So yeah, that’s my little adventure in finding the perfect Sue Bird T-shirt. It took a bit of searching, but I’m happy with what I ended up with. Now I can rep one of the greatest basketball players of all time in style!
