Okay, so I’ve been meaning to get into MotoGP for a while now, and with the 2024 season revving up, I figured it was time to take the plunge. I decided to focus on the Japanese Grand Prix, mainly because I’ve always wanted to visit Japan, and hey, why not combine it with some high-octane racing action?

This was going to be epic.
Next up, I had to figure out who was who in the MotoGP world. I learned there were some big names to watch out for. Francesco Bagnaia seemed to be a top dog, and then there was this Jorge Martin guy who was apparently right on his tail. And of course, the legendary Marc Marquez was in the mix. I also found out that a certain Pedro Acosta, who was supposed to be a qualifying winner, had a crash. That’s a bummer. I made a mental note to keep an eye on these riders.

I also skimmed through some info about rider changes and rule tweaks, but honestly, it was a bit overwhelming for a newbie like me. I decided to focus on the basics for now and learn as I go.

I found a cool online community that called the race “the iconic twin ring of the Pacific” and talked about it being part of the “road to the championship deciding races.” The hype was real, and I was totally getting swept up in it. I imagined the atmosphere at the track, the anticipation in the air, and the thrill of seeing these incredible machines in action.
