Okay, so today I decided to dig into the stats from the Houston Texans vs. Minnesota Vikings game. I’ve always been a numbers guy, and I thought it would be cool to see what I could pull together and maybe even spot some interesting trends.

First, I needed to find a good source for the data. I wanted something reliable, and detailed. I started data finding from many different * comparing them,i decided to go with one of them.
Getting My Hands Dirty
Once I picked one of source, I started copying and pasting key stats into a spreadsheet. It was a bit tedious, I won’t lie. I focused on the main stuff:
- Passing: Quarterback names, attempts, completions, yards, touchdowns, interceptions.
- Rushing: Rusher names, attempts, yards, touchdowns, longest run.
- Receiving: Receiver names, receptions, yards, touchdowns, longest reception.
- Defensive: Player names , tackles, sacks.
Manually copying all that data took a while. I probably spent a good hour just getting everything into the spreadsheet. I had to double-check a bunch of times to make sure I didn’t mess anything up. One wrong number and the whole thing could be off.
Making Sense of It All
After I collected those data,i started to organize it and did some simple *, i used it for creating some basic charts.I saw few players really stood out.
It was a fun little project.I made it!
