Okay, so yesterday I decided to check out Fred Stone Park. I’d heard it was a nice little spot, and I was definitely in the mood for some fresh air.

First thing I did was, you know, look it up on my phone. Just wanted to get a quick idea of where it was and what to expect. Saw some pictures, looked pretty chill. Nothing too crazy, just a simple park.
So, I hopped in my car and drove over. It wasn’t too far, which was a plus. Parking was easy, plenty of spaces. That’s always a good start, right?
Exploring the Park
Once I got out of the car, I just started wandering around. There were some walking paths, so I followed one of those. It was a pretty nice day, not too hot, not too cold.
- I saw some families having picnics.
- There were kids playing on the playground. Swings, slides, the usual.
- And there were a few people just sitting on benches, reading or enjoying the peace.
I walked around for maybe an hour or so. Just took it all in. I’m not gonna lie, I spent a good chunk of time just sitting on a bench myself, people-watching and enjoying the sunshine. It was really relaxing. I even saw a few squirrels running around, which was cute.
It is a simple place. Nothing fancy. A nice easy palce for visit.

Eventually, I decided I’d had enough fresh air for one day. So, I headed back to my car and drove home. Overall, it was a good little outing. I felt a lot more relaxed afterward.
If you’re looking for a simple, no-frills park to spend a few hours, Fred Stone Park is a decent choice. Don’t expect anything spectacular, but it’s a nice place to unwind and enjoy some nature.
