Okay, so today was all about getting ready for the football fall camp. It’s that time of year again, and honestly, I was kinda dreading it and excited about at the same time. First thing I did was dig out all my gear. It was all stuffed in the back of my closet, a giant, tangled mess of pads, jerseys, and cleats. I spent like an hour just sorting through everything, making sure I had matching socks – a surprisingly tough task!

Getting Organized (Or Trying To)
Then came the fun part (not really): washing everything. My practice jerseys smelled like… well, let’s just say they needed a serious deep clean. I threw them in the washer with extra detergent and hoped for the best. While that was going, I started cleaning my cleats. Mud from last season was caked on them like cement. I used an old toothbrush and some soapy water – took forever, but they look almost new now.
Hydration Prep
- Checked water bottle – check.
- Bought a giant pack of those electrolyte powder things – check.
- Made a mental note to actually drink water throughout the day – double check.
Seriously, staying hydrated is key, because that first day, is going to be, killer in the heat.
Mental Game
I also spent part time today going mental prepare myself for the * I am so exciting and looking forward to seeing how the coaches make us do the drills and stuff.

Finally, I packed everything into my duffel bag. It’s bulging at the seams, but hey, at least I’m (mostly) ready. Fall camp, here I come… hopefully, I survive!
