Fan Motorcycles: Your Guide to Models, Prices & More!

Okay, so I’ve been messing around with this whole “fan motorcycles” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a journey. It all started when I saw this crazy contraption online – basically, a motorcycle with a giant fan attached. I thought, “I gotta try that!”

The Beginning – Finding Stuff

First, I needed a motorcycle. Nothing fancy, just something that runs. I found an old beater bike in my neighbor’s yard, offered him a few bucks, and boom, I had my base.

Next, the fan. This was trickier. I needed something powerful, but not so huge it would tip the whole thing over. I ended up taking my big shop fan apart that I got on sale.

Putting It Together – The Hard Part

This is where things got interesting. I’m no engineer, so it was a lot of trial and error.

  • Step 1: Get the fan to mount. I used some metal brackets, and lots of bolts. It wobbled like crazy at first.
  • Step 2: Secure everything. I used some heavy-duty zip ties and even some duct tape. Classy, I know.
  • Step 3: Get the thing running. It took some rigging, but I finally got the fan powered up.

Test Runs – Whew!

The first test run was… exciting. The whole thing shook like it was about to explode. I definitely tightened some bolts after that.

The second run was better! It actually moved, propelled by the fan. It was slow, and probably looked ridiculous, but it worked!

The Final Result-My Fan Motorcycle.

So, there you have it. My fan-powered motorcycle. It’s not pretty, it’s not fast, but it’s mine, and it was a blast to build. Would I recommend it? Maybe not for your daily commute, but for a fun, slightly insane project? Absolutely.
