Okay, so the other day I was thinking, “I wanna know more about rugby.” Specifically, I wanted to dive into some of the famous rugby players from New Zealand. You know, the All Blacks? They’re legendary!

So, I started, like anyone would, by hitting up the internet. I just typed in “famous rugby players from New Zealand” and, boom, tons of stuff popped up.
First, I scrolled through some general lists. Wikipedia had a pretty solid one, and there were a bunch of other sports websites with their own rankings and articles. I started jotting down names that kept coming up. You know, the ones that seemed to be on everyone’s list.
Getting to know the names
- Richie McCaw-This name keep poping * like a big deal.
- Dan Carter-Another popular * be a good player.
- Jonah Lomu-Sounds familiar,probably watched him before.
- Beauden Barrett-Never heard * a new player?
Then, I decided to get a bit more organized. I created a simple note file on my computer. Nothing fancy, just a place to keep track of the players, their positions, and maybe a few key facts about them. This helped me not get overwhelmed by all the information.
After that,I looked up some videos on website. Watching highlight reels is way more fun than just reading stats, right? I wanted to see these guys in action! It’s interesting to find their differences.
I also paid attention to what other fans were saying. I checked out some rugby forums and social media posts. It’s cool to see the discussions and debates about who’s the best, the greatest of all time, and all that stuff. Gives you a different perspective.

Finally,I realized this is a pretty big topic! There are so many amazing players throughout history. I decided to focus my first little research session on players who are maybe more well-known in recent years. Then I can go back and learn about the older legends later. It is a step-by-step thing.
So, that’s how I’ve started my little journey into learning about famous All Blacks. It’s been fun so far! I’m no expert, but I’m definitely picking up some knowledge. And hey, watching those game highlights is pretty awesome.
