Exodus Knee Brace Review: Is It the Best Support for You?

Okay, so I’ve been having some knee trouble lately. Nothing major, just a bit of aching after my runs. I figured it was time to look into a knee brace, and after poking around online, I decided to try out the “Exodus” brace. I’d seen a few people mention it, and it looked pretty solid, so I thought, why not?

Getting Started

First, I measured my knee. I’ve ordered something from the internet and it was really frustrating. I wrap a tape to get the circumference, right around the center of my kneecap. I jot it down to make sure I get the right size, get it right the first time!

The Process

The brace arrived pretty quick, It’s not those very thin type. Feels pretty sturdy, with some flexible metal bits on the sides. I slipped it on – it was a little snug at first, but the material has some give. There are these Velcro straps, two above the knee and two below, that you can adjust to get the fit just right. I played around with those for a bit until it felt secure but not too tight. I didn’t want to cut off my circulation, you know?

  • First Try: I wore it around the house for a few hours. Felt a little weird at first, like having a constant hug on my knee. But I quickly got used to it.
  • First walk: I have a walk around the community, it’s help to stablize my knee.
  • Second walk: Much more better than yesterday, I could walk further.
  • First Run: Time for the real test! I went for a short, slow jog. I was a little worried about how the brace would feel while running, but it was surprisingly comfortable. It didn’t slip or slide around.

The Result

The big thing I noticed was the support. My knee felt much more stable, especially when I was going downhill. Usually, that’s when I feel the most aching, but with the brace, it was way less noticeable. I even tried some simple exercises after the first few days of wearing it, squats, leg extension, step-up. It was a game changer. My knee felt much better than before!

Honestly, I am pretty happy with the Exodus knee brace. It’s not a miracle cure, but it definitely helps with the stability and reduces the aching after my runs. It’s easy to put on and take off, and it’s not too bulky. I can even bearly notice it.

If you’re dealing with some minor knee pain, it might be worth checking out. Just remember to measure your knee properly, and don’t expect it to fix major problems – it’s more for support and preventing things from getting worse.
