Eating Gluten Free at Citi Field: A Complete Guide to Safe Food Choices!

Alright, so the other day, I went to Citi Field, and let me tell you, finding gluten-free options there was a bit of an adventure. But hey, I’m all about sharing my experiences, so here goes.

Eating Gluten Free at Citi Field: A Complete Guide to Safe Food Choices!

First off, I did a little digging online before heading to the stadium. From what I gathered, there’s this place called the World’s Fare Market, which is supposed to be the go-to spot for gluten-free grub. Sounds promising, right?

Once I got to the stadium, I made a beeline for the World’s Fare Market. It wasn’t too hard to find, thankfully. And let me say, the name does not lie. They’ve got a pretty decent spread of gluten-free stuff. I’m talking

  • burgers
  • hot dogs
  • chicken fingers
  • fries

—you know, all the classic ballpark food. Gotta love that!

Now, I’m not gonna sugarcoat it—the prices were a bit steep. But hey, that’s stadium food for you, right? It’s all part of the experience, I guess. Anyway, I decided to go for a gluten-free burger and some fries. Had to satisfy that ballpark craving, you know?

I have to say, the food was actually pretty good. It’s definitely better than your average fast-food joint. It even beats some of the food I’ve had at other events. They were really generous with the portion sizes, too. I definitely didn’t leave hungry, that’s for sure.

Oh, and here’s a little tip for ya: You can actually bring your own food into the stadium. Yeah, you heard that right. Just pack it in a soft-sided cooler, and you’re good to go. But, fair warning, it might slow you down at the gates. So, if you’re in a hurry, maybe just stick to buying food inside.

Besides the World’s Fare Market, I also heard about this place called Prime Kosher Sports. Apparently, they’ve got a bunch of kosher, vegan, and gluten-free options. I didn’t get a chance to check it out this time, but it’s definitely on my list for my next visit.

Summing It Up

All in all, I’d say my gluten-free experience at Citi Field was a win. It wasn’t perfect, but hey, where is it ever perfect? The food was tasty, there were options to choose from, and I didn’t have to worry about getting sick. What more could you ask for? So, if you’re ever at Citi Field and need gluten-free eats, you know where to go. Just be prepared to spend a little extra, and you’ll be golden.
