Okay, so I stumbled upon this “Dupont Disciples” thing and figured, why not give it a shot? I’m always up for trying new productivity hacks. Here’s how it went down.

Getting Started
First, I needed to, you know, actually understand what this was all about. I did a little digging and it all boils down to breaking down tasks and focusing on what really matters using, you know, paper and pen.
The Experiment
So, I grabbed a fresh notebook and pen – felt kind of old-school, but in a good way. I listed out everything I needed to do, work stuff, personal errands, the whole shebang.
- Finish project report
- Grocery shopping
- Call Mom
- Schedule dentist appointment
- Research that new software
Then I take that list and break it down into smaller steps and then get laser-focused on the important ones.
The Process: How It Worked for Me
I started tackling the most important tasks first. I did 25 minutes of focused work with 5 minutes of break. It was surprisingly effective! Getting that report done felt like a huge weight off my shoulders.
Next,I knocked out the smaller, easier stuff, crossing them off the list, you know. I am so proud of myself.

My Results
Honestly, I was surprised by how much I got done. I even made time for that software research I’d been putting off.
It’s not magic, of course. I still had to, you know, actually do the work. But breaking things down and staying on top of things made a real difference. I’m definitely going to keep using this, at least for a while, to see if it sticks.
