Okay, so, today I wanna talk about my Ducati Multistrada 1200 S. This thing is a beast, and I’ve had some real adventures with it.

First off, I got this bike a few years back. I remember doing tons of research, comparing it with the regular 1200, and even checking out some other brands like KTM. But the Multistrada, especially the S model, just called to me. It was love at first sight.
I went to a dealer and took it for a test ride. Man, the power delivery on this thing is just nuts! I’ve heard some folks say the older, single spark models were even more raw, but this one’s got more than enough juice for me. They have these riding modes, you know? Sport, Touring, and so on. I mostly stick to Sport because, well, it’s just more fun that way!
Getting this bike dirty was on my to-do list from day one. I’m not really into serious off-roading, so I didn’t go for the Enduro version. But I’ve taken it through some muddy forests, over logs, and even across a see-saw. It handles surprisingly well for such a big bike. You just need to have some confidence and be ready for a workout.
- Riding modes: Sport, Touring and others.
- Engine is powerful and nuts.
- This bike is pretty heavy, but handles surprisingly well.
Now, this isn’t just a dirt bike. It’s great for touring too. It has electronic suspension, cruise control, heated grips and so on. I did a few long trips, and it was super comfortable. The weather protection is decent, and you got all these electronic aids to keep you safe.
There are some differences between the regular 1200 and the 1200 S. They are not huge, but the S model is lighter, faster, and well, just more Italian, if you know what I mean. It’s got that extra oomph that makes it special. Also, the S model has a bigger tank, which is great for long rides.

So, yeah, that’s my Ducati Multistrada 1200 S. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m looking forward to many more adventures with this beast. If you’re thinking about getting one, just do it. You won’t regret it.
