Okay, so, I’ve been keeping tabs on DJ Moore, the wide receiver for the Chicago Bears. You know, the star player. And, man, it’s been a bit of a rollercoaster this week with him.
It all started when I saw he missed practice. Not just one, but two in a row! It was like, “Oh, crap, what’s going on?” Turns out, he’s got a quad injury. I mean, who even gets quad injuries? So, of course, I’m thinking the worst. Is he gonna play this weekend against the 49ers? It was a big question mark.
The team listed him as “questionable.” It’s like, come on, give me something more to work with! “Questionable” is so vague. It could mean anything, right? So, I’m digging around, trying to find any little hint about his status.
Waiting Game
- Wednesday: No practice.
- Thursday: Still no practice.
- Friday: The day of truth.
Everyone’s saying that Friday’s injury report is the key. That’s when we’ll really know what’s up. I was glued to my phone, hitting refresh every five seconds. It felt like forever. If he’s out, that’s a huge blow for the Bears. And, not gonna lie, for my fantasy team, too. I need him!
Then, boom! The news drops. He’s active! He’s playing! I did a little happy dance, not even gonna front. I saw somewhere that some guy said he ran a 4.42 40-yard dash, so I guess he’s in good shape!
So, yeah, DJ Moore is in for Sunday’s game. For all you fantasy football folks out there, lock him in. He’s a WR1, no doubt. He’s gonna ball out. I’m feeling good about it. Let’s go, Bears!
