Okay, so today’s little project was figuring out which stadium is the smallest in the Premier League. I’ve been watching a lot of football lately, and it just got me thinking about the different grounds these teams play in.

I started by just looking up ‘football stadiums in England’ on my search engine, which is a pretty broad starting point, I know. It showed me that there are loads of football pitches scattered all over the place, from huge arenas to tiny local fields.
Narrowing It Down
Then I decided to narrow my search to just the Premier League stadiums. I made a list of all the teams currently in the league and then went through one by one, trying to find info on their stadium capacities.
It took a bit of time to get through them all because some of the stadiums have changed names a few times, and others have had expansions over the years. It was interesting to see how some of these places have grown. For example, I stumbled upon the King Power Stadium, which is pretty new and modern compared to some of the older grounds.
The Smallest One
After digging around, I finally found the answer. It turns out that the smallest stadium in the Premier League belongs to AFC Bournemouth. Their home ground, Dean Court, has a capacity of just 11,307. That’s pretty small when you compare it to some of the bigger clubs’ stadiums.
- AFC Bournemouth: Dean Court
- Capacity: 11,307
I also found some random info about the smallest NFL stadium. It’s called Soldier Field, and it only holds 61 people. That’s tiny! It’s not related to the Premier League, but I thought it was an interesting bit of trivia.
So there you have it. It was a fun little research project, and now I know a bit more about the Premier League stadiums. Next time I’m watching a Bournemouth home game, I’ll definitely be thinking about how cozy that stadium must feel compared to the others.
