Okay, so, today I’m going to talk about my little adventure with the Dino McDonald’s Happy Meal toys.
It all started when I saw some buzz online about McDonald’s doing some cool new toys. I’m a bit of a collector myself, and I have a soft spot for dinosaurs, so this was right up my alley. I did some digging and found out that these toys were part of a Jurassic World Chaos Theory promotion that was happening in the UK. Bummer, right? I’m in the U.S., so I thought I was out of luck.
But then, I had an idea. I reached out to some friends across the pond. I have a buddy, Mark, who lives in London, and I asked if he could snag a few of these Happy Meals for me. Thankfully, he was more than happy to help a friend out. We figured out the logistics, and he started his mission. Every few days, he’d go to a different McDonald’s, grab a Happy Meal, and set the toy aside for me.
This went on for a few weeks. Mark was a real trooper, hitting up various McDonald’s locations all over London. He’d send me pictures of the toys he collected, and let me tell you, they looked awesome! There were different types of dinos, all colorful and well-made. I was getting more and more excited with each picture he sent.
The Waiting Game
