Okay, so I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and I finally did it. I got a tattoo! And not just anywhere, on my wrist, just like Derek Carr. Yeah, the NFL quarterback. I’ve always admired him, not just for his skills on the field, but also for his strong faith. He’s got this cool tattoo on his right wrist, and I wanted something similar.
So, I started digging around to learn more about Derek Carr’s tattoo. It turns out it’s a symbol called a “Chi Rho.” It’s a really old symbol, one of the earliest used by Christians. It combines the first two letters of the Greek word for Christ. That’s pretty neat, right?
After finding out the meaning, I started looking into getting one myself. I went to a few tattoo shops, looked at their portfolios, you know, the usual stuff. I wanted to make sure I got it right. This was going to be permanent, after all!
I finally found this one artist whose style I really liked. We talked about the design, the size, and the exact placement. I wanted it on my right wrist, just like Derek. It felt a bit nerve-wracking, I won’t lie.
The Big Day

It’s a cool conversation starter, too. People ask me about it, and I get to share the story and the meaning behind it. I can explain what it is and why I chose it. It’s a way for me to express my faith, just like Derek Carr.
