Okay, so I’ve been working on this thing called the “daniel jeremiah mock draft”. It’s basically a prediction of how the NFL draft is gonna go down. I spent a good chunk of my day on this, so let me walk you through what I did.

First, I started by gathering all the information I could find about the upcoming NFL draft. I mean, you can’t make predictions without knowing what’s what, right? I dug through articles, and team reports. I basically became a hermit for a few hours, just glued to my screen.
Then, I created a spreadsheet to organize all the teams and their potential draft needs. This was a bit tedious, I won’t lie. But, it was super important to have everything laid out in front of me. I listed each team, their current roster, and what positions they were likely to target in the draft. This took longer than expected, I was finding conflicting reports of what the teams needed, had to do a lot of back and forth to figure out which were accurate.
After that, I started looking at the prospects. This is where things got really interesting. I watched some of their highlights, and tried to get a feel for their playing style. I also checked out their stats and what people were saying about their potential. Some were quite straightforward to predict how they would go, others took some real thinking.
Once I had a good grasp of the prospects and the team needs, I started putting together my mock draft. This was the fun part! I went team by team, pick by pick, and tried to predict who they would select. It was like a big puzzle, and I was trying to find the right pieces.
But it wasn’t all smooth sailing. I did not take RB Josh Jacobs with my first pick like I saw somewhere else. That just didn’t make sense to me, so I went with my gut and made a different choice. See, these mock drafts aren’t an exact science. You gotta use your head and your intuition. I made a lot of different choices that weren’t common in other predictions, I might be wrong but I feel good about them.

The Final Touches
After I had my first draft, I went back and reviewed it a few times. I made some tweaks here and there, trying to make it as accurate as possible. It was a lot of back and forth, but I think I finally got it to a place where I was happy with it. This took a lot of effort and time, and I had to change things more than I wanted to, but I finally got it done.
- Gathered information about the NFL draft
- Created a spreadsheet to organize team needs
- Researched the prospects and their playing style
- Assembled the mock draft, team by team
- Reviewed and tweaked the draft multiple times
So, yeah, that’s how I spent my day working on the Daniel Jeremiah mock draft. It was a lot of work, but it was also a lot of fun. I’m pretty stoked to see how accurate my predictions end up being. Who knows, maybe I’ll be the next Mel Kiper Jr.! (Just kidding… maybe.)
