They played a game, the Mavericks, and it was a wild one. Real crazy. Up and down, back and forth. Like a squirrel chasin’ its tail. But they won! That’s the important part, ain’t it? Winnin’ is good.
Another time, they played this San An-tonio team. And boy, did they beat ’em good. Beat ’em like a rug! Luka, he scored 39 points that time, and he did all sorts of other stuff too. They call it a “triple-double.” Sounds like somethin’ you order at a diner, but it means he was real good at everything that game. The score was somethin’ like, 144 to 119. That’s a lot of points, even for me to count.
