Alright, let’s talk about how I put my Aventurine together. It wasn’t exactly smooth sailing, took some messing around.

Getting Started
First off, actually getting him was the initial step, you know how gacha is. Once he dropped, the real work began. Leveling him up to 80 was the first priority, standard stuff. Used up a good chunk of my character XP materials, but gotta get those base stats up.
Light Cone Choice
Now, the Light Cone. His signature one, ‘Inherently Unjust Destiny’, looked real nice, obviously. But pulling for weapon banners? Rough. Didn’t feel like risking it this time. So, I looked at what I had. Lots of folks were talking about ‘Moment of Victory’, Gepard’s cone. It gives DEF and helps with aggro, seemed like a solid alternative. Slapped that on him for a while. Also tried ‘Texture of Memories’ from Herta’s Store for a bit, pure F2P option, decent DEF boost. Settled on ‘Moment of Victory’ for now because I had it lying around and the extra Taunt helps sometimes.
Relic Grinding… Ugh
This was the part that really took time. The goal was clear: stack Defense. Like, a LOT of Defense.
- Cavern Relics: Headed straight for the Path of Providence to farm the ‘Knight of Purity Palace’ set. The 4-piece bonus gives more shield strength, which felt like the most obvious thing for him. Spent way too much Trailblaze Power in there. Got so many pieces with flat HP or ATK… typical relic farming pain. For a while, I just used the best 2-piece Knight I had and mixed it with 2-piece ‘Guard of Wuthering Snow’ for the damage reduction, just to get something usable. Finally got a barely decent 4-piece Knight set going. Main stats I aimed for were DEF% on the Body and Sphere, and Speed on the Boots. Speed felt important so he could act more and keep shields up, or generate energy.
- Planar Ornaments: For these, I farmed Simulated Universe like crazy. ‘Belobog of the Architects’ seemed like the best fit. More DEF%, and even more DEF if you hit the Effect Hit Rate requirement? Wait, no, that’s not right… Belobog gives more DEF, and boosts damage if your DEF is high enough. Yeah, that one. Aimed for a DEF% Sphere and an Energy Regen Rate Rope initially, but finding a good ERR rope with DEF subs was tough. Settled for a DEF% Rope for now just to maximize his shield and personal damage scaling off DEF.
Getting the right sub-stats was, and still is, a nightmare. Just kept chasing DEF% and Speed mostly. Some Crit Rate/Damage showed up, which isn’t terrible since his damage scales with DEF, but Defense was the main goal.
Leveling Traces
This part was more straightforward, just needed the materials.

Priorities:
- Ultimate: Leveled this up high pretty quick. It gives the shield and does damage. Core part of his kit.
- Skill: Also crucial for the shield strength. Got this up right after the Ultimate.
- Talent: This gives the Effect RES and the follow-up attack trigger. Important, leveled it alongside the Skill/Ultimate.
- Basic Attack: Honestly? Left this at level 1 for the longest time. Didn’t seem worth the resources compared to the others. Maybe I’ll level it someday if I have spare mats.
Getting all the specific Preservation materials took a few days of farming Calyxes, standard procedure.
Putting it Together
So yeah, after all that farming and leveling, he’s functional. Got him leveled, decent Light Cone equipped (‘Moment of Victory’ for now), a 4-piece ‘Knight of Purity Palace’ set that isn’t completely awful, and a 2-piece ‘Belobog of the Architects’. Key traces like Skill, Ultimate, and Talent are reasonably high.
He keeps the team alive most of the time, which is his main job. Still feels like he could be better, especially the relics. Getting that perfect DEF% body with Crit subs, or Speed boots with tons of DEF%… it’s an ongoing process. But for now, this is the build I managed to cobble together through trial and error, and a whole lot of grinding.
