Alright, so I spent some time digging into Cody Gibson stats the other day. It wasn’t for anything super serious, more for my own tracking, maybe a little fantasy league prep, you know how it goes.

Getting Started
First thing I did was pretty straightforward. I just hopped onto my computer and started searching. Used the usual search engines, typed in stuff like “Cody Gibson statistics”, “Cody Gibson record”, that kind of thing. Nothing too fancy.
Got a bunch of results back right away. Some were from the big sports sites, others looked like fan pages or forums. It’s always a mixed bag when you start looking for specific player stats.
Sorting Through the Data
Here’s where it got a little tedious. I noticed some differences between the sites. One site might have slightly different numbers for wins or losses, or maybe the details of how a fight ended were listed differently. It happens, especially if stats aren’t updated instantly everywhere.
So, I decided to focus on a couple of sources that usually seem pretty reliable. The official league site is normally a good starting point, and then maybe one or two major sports statistics providers. I basically had a few browser tabs open, comparing the numbers I was seeing.
I was mainly looking for the core stuff:

- Wins and Losses
- Method of Victory (like KO, submission, decision)
- Maybe some recent performance trends
I wasn’t trying to do super deep analytics, just get a solid overview.
Putting It Together
To make sense of it all for myself, I actually opened up a simple spreadsheet. Didn’t need anything complicated. I just made columns for the key stats I wanted to track. Then I started plugging in the numbers, mostly going with the figures that appeared most consistently across the reliable sources I picked.
It took a bit of time, clicking back and forth, copying, pasting, and just double-checking that things looked right. You kind of get into a rhythm doing it.
The Result
In the end, I had my own little summary of Cody Gibson’s stats. It felt good to have it laid out clearly, all in one spot, based on the information I’d gathered myself. It wasn’t groundbreaking research or anything, just the simple process of finding, verifying, and organizing the data I needed.
It’s just one of those things – sometimes you gotta roll up your sleeves and compile the info yourself to really feel like you’ve got a handle on it. Now I feel a bit more prepared for that fantasy draft conversation, at least regarding Gibson.
