Okay, so the Chris Paul trade – man, what a whirlwind! I’ve been following this saga for a while, and I gotta say, I did NOT see this ending coming. Here’s how I experienced the whole thing unfold, and the notes I jotted down along the way:

It started with whispers, you know? Like, those “league sources” saying the Suns were looking to shake things up. I remember thinking, “Okay, maybe they’ll move Ayton?” I was totally focused on that possibility. I even made a few notes like:

- “Possible destinations: Indiana? Toronto?”

I was completely blind-sided, completely off. Chris Paul wasn’t even on my radar! So, mistake number one, right there.

Then, BOOM. Woj (or maybe Shams, I forget!) tweeted it out: Chris Paul to the Wizards. My jaw literally dropped. My first note was, I kid you not:
