Yo, you young’uns and your fancy games! Heard you talkin’ ’bout this Fortnite thing. This chapter 3 season 1 map, huh? Sounds like some kinda big deal.
My grandson, he’s always glued to that screen. Says this new Fortnite map got all sorts of new places. One side is all covered in snow, like when we had that big blizzard back in ’98. They call it a “wintry biome.” What even is that? Sounds cold.
This New-Fangled Fortnite Map
Anyways, this chapter 3 season 1 Fortnite map, they called it, is apparently called Artemis. Sounds like a girl’s name to me. This new map, well it ain’t like the old ones. It’s got a whole buncha new stuff.
- Snowy Places: Like I said, half of it is covered in snow. They got this place called Greasy Grove, sounds like where I used to get my bacon. There’s also Logjam Lumberyard. Probably where they get all that wood to build with.
- New Stuff To Do: My grandson says there are new things to find and do. I don’t know what they are, but he seems excited. He’s always going on about “loot” and “battles”.
- Old Map Coming Back?: Heard somethin’ about some old map comin’ back too. Some “OG” thing. They say it’s gonna be around forever now, not just for a little bit. Sounds like they’re tryin’ to please everyone, the old folks and the young’uns.
They got this place, Greasy Grove. What a name! Sounds like they got a whole lotta fryin’ goin’ on there. Probably sell that greasy food that gives ya heartburn. Reminds me of that diner down the road used to be.
And then there’s somethin’ called Logjam Lumberyard. Now that sounds like a place my old man woulda liked. He was a logger, you see. Worked hard all his life. Wonder if they got them big saws and strong men choppin’ down trees in this game.
What’s the Big Deal with This Chapter 3 Season 1 Fortnite Map?
I don’t rightly know why everyone’s makin’ such a fuss about this chapter 3 season 1 Fortnite map. Seems like just another place for these kids to shoot each other and build things. But my grandson, he can’t stop talkin’ about it.
He says there’s new “items.” What kinda items? Don’t they have enough stuff already? Back in my day, we were happy with a stick and a hoop! These kids today, they got it too easy.
They say this season is also called Season 19. Why can’t they just pick a number and stick with it? Makes my head spin tryin’ to keep up with all these numbers and seasons. It’s like when they changed the price of a loaf of bread for the 19th time. Confusing!
This whole Fortnite thing, it’s a mystery to me. But if it keeps the young’uns entertained, I guess it ain’t all bad. Just wish they’d get outside more and get some fresh air. Like we used to do.
Fortnite OG – What’s That?
They are also talkin’ about this Fortnite OG thing comin’ back on December 6, 2024. My grandson says it’s the old map, the one they used to play on. And they say it’s gonna be a permanent thing now, not just for a little while.
So, I reckon this means they’ll have two maps now? This new chapter 3 season 1 Fortnite map, Artemis, and this old OG map. Sounds mighty confusing to me, but I guess it gives folks more choices. And everyone loves choices, don’t they?
It’s like when you go to the general store and they got five different kinds of beans. You got your pinto beans, your kidney beans, your black beans… Too many choices if you ask me. But some folks like to have options.
Season This, Chapter That
Seems like this new map is just one part of this whole “chapter” thing they got goin’ on. And this is the first season of this chapter 3, so they call it season 1. But they also call it season 19? It’s all a bit much for an old lady like me to follow.
I remember when seasons were just spring, summer, fall, and winter. Simple times. Now they got seasons for everything. Seasons for games, seasons for TV shows, seasons for clothes… Why can’t they keep these things the same?
Anyway, this whole Fortnite chapter 3 season 1 map thing seems like a big change for these youngsters. They say this OG map will come back after chapter 6 season 1 starts, so they got less than a week to play on this new Artemis map before they go back to the old one. Why do they make it so complicated?
I guess change is good, though. Keeps things interesting. Even if it does confuse the heck outta me. I better go get a hot water now. All this talkin’ about Fortnite has given me a headache.
