Alright, let’s talk about the Bulls, man. It’s been a wild ride this season, and honestly, I’m not even sure what to think anymore.

So, I started following them religiously this year. I mean, I’ve always been a fan, but this season, I decided to go all in. I watched every single game, kept track of all the stats, you name it. At first, it was kinda rough.
They were 3-3, and I was like, “What’s the deal?” It seemed like they didn’t even know what they were aiming for. It’s a big year for the draft class. Everybody was talking about how deep it is, how many great players are gonna be available. I even read somewhere that this draft class is like one of the deepest in years. So, I was wondering, should the Bulls be aiming for a top pick? Or should they actually try to make a run?
Mid-Season Musings
Anyway, I kept watching, kept hoping. The season went on. Now we are almost halfway through the 2024-25 season. I remember people talking about how the Bulls might end up 9th in the East. I saw a post that said, “The Chicago Bulls will end 2024 with a 15-18 record and a 9th-place standing in the Eastern Conference. If the season ended today.” That’s not exactly championship material, you know?
And the trade rumors! Oh boy, the trade rumors. It felt like every day there was a new one. I even saw things that some guys saying, “If both players are traded.” “Can we agree to tear down a basket, parade it down Michigan Avenue.” I mean, it was crazy!
Then there were the Media Day interviews. Everyone had questions. There was also someone who posted the next episode of Bull in February 2022. I was excited about it.

- When will Lonzo be back?
- Is this gonna be the breakout season for some players?
I read somewhere that we, as Bulls fans, are like “jilted lovers that can’t get over a bad breakup.” It made me laugh, but it’s kinda true, right? We’re always waiting for something big to happen, some big change that’ll turn things around. I remember reading something from Darnell Mayberry, a senior writer, about how the Bulls keep “bumping their head” and how we’re all just waiting for a different offseason.
So, yeah, that’s where I’m at with the Bulls this season. It’s been a rollercoaster of emotions. I’m still watching, still hoping, but also kinda bracing myself for whatever comes next. It’s tough being a Bulls fan sometimes, but hey, that’s the life we chose, right?
I also found a Chicago Bulls blog, . I followed this guy and started reading his articles. That’s really interesting!
Anyway, that’s my Bulls story for now. Let’s see what the rest of the season brings.
