Okay, so I saw this phrase “book em danno horse” somewhere and I was like, what the heck does that mean? I’d heard “book em, Danno” before, from that old show Hawaii Five-O, but never with a “horse” at the end. So I got curious and decided to do some digging.

Got tons of results about that phrase being a catchphrase from the show, used by the character Steve McGarrett, played by Jack Lord. He’d say it to his partner, Danny Williams, whenever they caught the bad guy.
Still no closer to understanding the “horse”, I decided to get creative. I figured maybe it was some kind of inside joke or a reference to a specific episode. - He’s this big, friendly guy who runs a shrimp truck and helps the Five-0 team sometimes.
- In one episode, he apparently says “book em, Danno… horse” as a joke, kind of like his own version of the famous line.
So, mystery solved! It’s just a funny line from the new Hawaii Five-0. I spent way too much time on this, but hey, at least I learned something, right? And now I can share this super important information with the world.
