Okay, here’s my blog post about my “bmw bike 3 wheel” experience:

So, I got it into my head that I needed to see what this whole “BMW 3-wheeled bike” thing was about. I’d seen some whispers online, and my curiosity was seriously piqued. I mean, BMW and three wheels? It sounded… unusual.
The Hunt Begins
First, I fired up Google. Just typed in “bmw bike 3 wheel” and hoped for the best. I scrolled through a bunch of images, mostly concept art and some custom builds. It wasn’t immediately clear if this was a real thing BMW actually sold.
Then after I dig in deep and found it, It looks pretty cool.
The Deep Dive
I started digging deeper. I checked out some forums, and it seemed like there were a few different things going on:
- Some people were talking about custom-built trikes (three-wheeled motorcycles) that used BMW parts. Like, taking a BMW bike engine and putting it on a trike frame.
- Others were mentioning something called the “Clever,” which was some kind of tilting three-wheeled scooter concept that BMW worked on a while back. Not exactly a “bike,” but close.
- It is a concept car.
Putting It All Together
So, here’s what I figured out. There isn’t a standard, off-the-showroom-floor “BMW bike 3 wheel” that you can just go out and buy. At least, not that I could find.

It’s more about these custom creations and older concept vehicles. I pored over pictures and videos of the custom trikes – some of them were pretty wild! The Clever concept was also interesting, kind of like a futuristic scooter-car hybrid.
I even spent some time looking at how people actually build these custom trikes. There are whole communities online dedicated to it! It’s way above my skill level, but it was fascinating to see the process.
The Final Word (For Now!)
My quest for the “bmw bike 3 wheel” didn’t end with me riding one, but it was a fun little adventure. I learned a lot about custom bike building and some interesting BMW history. I still think it would be cool to see a three-wheeled BMW motorcycle, but for now, it seems like it’s mostly in the realm of custom builds and concept dreams. I guess I will have to put this aside for a while, maybe one day I can build my own!
