Okay, so I was messing around with this “Blues Clues Shy” thing today, and let me tell you, it was a bit of a journey. I’m not the most tech-savvy person, but I like to try new things, and this looked kinda cute and fun.

First, I had to figure out, like, what it even was. I did some digging. It’s from a kid’s show, Blue’s Clues, and it is a shy character.
So, once I got the basic picture, I started thinking about what I could actually do with it. My first thought was to try and, I don’t know, recreate the animation or something. I found some videos, watched them a few times, trying to get a feel for the movement and the colors.
I opened up some drawing software, which, let’s be honest, I’m still learning. I started with the simple shapes. I started by doing some basic stuff, playing with shapes, and coloring.
- The outline: Getting the basic shape was the first hurdle. It’s not exactly a circle, more like a… rounded blob? It took a few tries to get it looking somewhat right.
- The Colors:I used that color picker tool, and I’m pretty sure I nailed the shades.
- The face:It is simple, with just two little eyes and a mouth,I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to get the eyes in the right place. They kept looking either surprised or angry, not shy!
After a couple of hours, I had something that… resembled the character. It wasn’t perfect, definitely not animation-ready, but it was recognizable. I’m sharing because I think it’s awesome to, like, document the whole process, even the messy parts. It’s how we learn, right?
I saved my masterpiece. It’s not going to win any awards, but it’s mine, and I learned a few things along the way. Maybe next time I’ll try animating it, or maybe I’ll just stick to simpler projects. Who knows! The important thing is I had some fun and didn’t give up, even when those eyes were driving me crazy.
