So today I decided to dive into figuring out who actually won Big Brother Season Six and how everyone ranked. Felt like digging up old treasure since it aired ages ago, but hey, I love this stuff.
Getting Started
First thing, I grabbed my laptop, some leftover pizza, and fired up Google. Typed in “Big Brother 6 voting results” like a normal person would. Didn’t want any fancy summaries – just the raw, messy truth from back in the day.
Started clicking through forums and old news articles. Man, those fan sites look ancient now! Felt like an archeologist scraping through layers of internet dust. Took notes like crazy in my trusty notepad app, scribbling down names and positions.
The Grind
Hit a snag pretty quick. Different sites had slightly different voting stats? Annoying. Had to cross-reference like four sources just to nail down the actual vote numbers for the final two. Paused my pizza chewing, leaned in real close to the screen – this was serious business.
- Final Two Check: Pulled up Janelle’s numbers versus Maggie’s votes on three different sites. Wrote ’em all down, side-by-side. Did the math myself like five times – addition’s easy, but accuracy matters!
- Full Rankings: Then tackled the whole elimination order. Found one source claiming James got booted 6th, another said 7th? Ugh. Scrolled deeper into some BB fan wiki buried deep in search results. Finally locked it down.
Putting It Together
Organized my chaotic notes into something readable. Started writing it out simple:
Winner: Maggie (she beat Janelle by X votes – confirmed those totals three ways).

Runner-up: Janelle (duh, she was a beast).
Third: Ivette (how did she outlast Howie again?).
Listed everyone else in order right down to poor Ashlea who went out first. Double-checked the list against two more old articles. Spotted a typo in my notes – thought April finished 4th, but nope, it was 8th. Almost messed it up!
Closing Thoughts
Honestly shocked Maggie pulled it off, even after all these years. Janelle was robbed! But hey, the numbers don’t lie. Took way longer than expected – spent like 40 minutes chasing down reliable old data. Felt satisfied slamming my laptop shut finally, though. Classic season. Crazy how much work it takes just to verify stuff everyone kinda forgets about.
