BBL Bayern Results Timeline: What to Expect After Surgery

First Few Days Post-Surgery

Alright, so I got my BBL done at that clinic in Bavaria last month. Woke up feeling like I got hit by a truck, no joke. The nurses got me into this special compression garment right away – tight as hell but they said it’s gotta stay on. Couldn’t sit on my butt at all. Like, zero pressure allowed. Had to use this weird donut pillow when pooping or lie flat on my stomach. Pain meds helped, but moving? Felt like my legs forgot how to walk.

  • Day 1: Super woozy, kept sleeping. Ass felt crazy numb but also sore.
  • Day 2: Managed to shuffle to the bathroom holding the IV pole. Saw the swelling starting – hips looked wild!
  • Day 3: Drain tubes got pulled out. Weird feeling, didn’t hurt much honestly. Garment felt tighter though.

Week 1 Survival Mode

Got home and hated life for a bit. Slept face down on a massage table I rented. Showering was a nightmare – balancing on one foot trying not to soak the garment. Swelling peaked hard; my thighs and waist looked inflated. Bruises turned all sorts of gross colors – purple, green, yellow. Just… wow.

  • Used ice packs like crazy on the lipo areas (tummy, flanks) but NOT on the butt.
  • Lived in pajamas and that damn compression garment 24/7.
  • Tried lymphatic massages starting Day 5. Hurt so good – therapist went hard on those fluid lumps.

Hitting the 1-Month Mark

Okay, things finally started looking up. Bruising faded a lot. Swelling? Still there, but not cartoon-level anymore. I could finally sit carefully using my special pillow. Started walking slower around the block. But oh man, itching under the garment became my new enemy! Also got these weird numb patches on my hips – surgeon said nerves are waking up slowly.

Noticed my butt shape changing week to week. Some days it looked fuller, some days flatter – weird mental game. Had to remind myself daily: “It’s just swelling moving around. Chill.” Followed the “no direct sitting” rule like religion.

Where I’m At Now (Almost 10 Weeks)

Compression garment finally got downgraded to a lighter one! Thank God, it’s way less sweaty. Swelling’s way down but still comes and goes. Butt feels softer, less like a rock. Lipo areas feel lumpy sometimes, especially mornings – massages help break that up. Still avoid sitting long periods without my pillow. Wearing jeans still feels weird – the pressure on hips is odd.

  • Can exercise again! Just no heavy squats or anything that squishes my butt.
  • Sleeping on my back finally feels okay, but side sleeping? Nah, hurts the hips.
  • Numbness is better, but some spots still feel like dead skin – surgeon says be patient.

Honestly? Results keep evolving. Some mornings I look in the mirror like “Heck yeah!”. Others I’m like… “Is it smaller?!” Doc says final shape settles around 6 months to a year. It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Just gotta trust the process, keep massaging, and rock that ugly compression wear a bit longer. Still glad I did it, even with all the bumps!
