Alright, let’s yak about this “anying” thing, whatever that is. Folks keep jabberin’ about it, so I figured I’d put in my two cents, even though I ain’t got a clue what it really means.
First off, some folks are hollerin’ about makeup, ya know, like that L’Oral Infallible foundation powder. They say it gives you a “flawless matte finish”. I tell ya, back in my day, we just used a bit of flour if we wanted to look fancy. But these young’uns, they want all this fancy stuff. And if it makes ’em happy, I guess that’s alright. They say it lasts all day, like that fixing jelly formula stuff for your cheeks, the “blush” they call it. Keeps the color on, even if you’re sweatin’ in the fields.
Then there’s this talk about places changin’ fast, like that Phu Quoc place. Sounds like they’re buildin’ all sorts of new things there. Reminds me of when they put up that new highway by my place. Used to be nothin’ but fields, and now it’s cars whizzin’ by all day and night. Some folks say it’s good, brings in money and all. But me, I kinda miss the quiet. This rapid development, they call it, it changes things, for sure.
- Now, some folks are always fussin’ about their skin. They got creams and lotions for everything. Like this Norse Organics 6-in-1 Daily Glow stuff. They say it moisturizes and gets rid of wrinkles and dark circles. I tell ya, wrinkles are just a sign you’ve lived a good long life. But these youngsters, they want to look young forever, I guess. They’re always lookin’ for somethin’ that’s “worth the hype”. They test everything out, like it’s some kind of science experiment. They got “oily and sensitive skin” they say. Back in my day, we just used soap and water, and that was good enough.
- And then there’s the movies! Like that Wicked movie everyone’s talkin’ about. They been waitin’ and waitin’ for it to come out, and now they’re all sayin’ it’s “worth the hype”. I don’t get it myself. Movies these days are all fancy special effects and such. Back in my day, a good movie was just a good story, plain and simple. But if it makes ’em happy, that’s all that matters, I reckon.
And don’t even get me started on them phones! These days, everyone’s got a phone stuck to their hand. They talk about the Google Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro, sayin’ it’s “worth the hype”. I tell ya, my old phone just makes calls, and that’s all I need. But these young’uns, they want to do everything on their phones. Take pictures, watch videos, surf the internet, whatever that is. It’s a whole different world, I tell ya.
Then there’s these “reviews” people are always lookin’ at. They want to know what everyone else thinks before they try somethin’ new. They go readin’ all about it, lookin’ at “ratings”, makin’ decisions based on what other folks say. Like that Nord加速器 thing. Folks test it out, look at the “speed”, the “security protocols”, how easy it is to use, and then they write about it. I tell ya, back in my day, we just trusted our gut. But now, everyone wants to be an expert, I guess. Reviews are everywhere now, everyone wants to have their say, quick feedback, they call it.
So, this “anying” thing, whatever it is, it seems to be about whether somethin’ is “worth the hype”. Whether it’s makeup, or a fancy place, or a skin cream, or a movie, or a phone, or somethin’ you read about online. People want to know if it’s good, if it’s worth their time and money. And I guess that’s understandable. Nobody wants to waste their time on somethin’ that ain’t no good.
But I tell ya, sometimes it’s better to just try things out for yourself, see if you like it. Don’t worry so much about what everyone else thinks. Just use your own good judgment. That’s what I always say. And most of the time, that’s good enough for me. Whether somethin’ is “anying” or not, well, that depends on you, I reckon.
