Okay, so, I’ve been wanting to go to the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game for a while now. It just seems like such a fun event, you know? All those celebrities playing basketball, the atmosphere…it’s gotta be electric.
So, this year, I finally decided to pull the trigger and actually get tickets. First thing I did was check out when and where it was happening. Turns out, it was in Oakland, at the Coliseum Way. Not super close, but hey, it’s the All-Star game, right?
Next up, I started looking for tickets. I tried a bunch of different websites, read through all these ticket sites and event listings. Some of them seemed kind of sketchy, to be honest. Finally, I found one that seemed legit, and they had a buyer guarantee, which made me feel a little better.
The whole voting thing for the players was kind of confusing. They average the votes from fans, players, and media. And if there’s a tie, the fans decide? It’s a whole process. I just wanted to see some famous people play ball!
I saw that the All-Star weekend was scheduled for February 14-16, and while the main game was at the Chase Center, the Celebrity Game was over in Oakland. That was a bit of a bummer, having them in different locations, but I figured it would still be worth it.
After comparing prices and seats on a couple of sites, I finally found some tickets that were in my budget and had a decent view. I bit the bullet and bought them. I was so excited!
Getting to the game was a bit of a trek, but the energy in the arena was amazing. There were so many people, all hyped up to see their favorite celebrities on the court.

It was such a unique and entertaining event. Plus, I love seeing celebrities out of their usual element. It was a great way to experience the NBA All-Star weekend without the pressure and intensity of the main game.
