Accessing the Piazza Club at Citi Field: Tips for Fans.

So, the other day, I went to a Mets game at Citi Field, and I got to check out the Piazza Club. Let me tell you, it was a pretty sweet experience. I got my tickets, and they had this note about club access, so I figured I’d see what the Piazza Club was all about.

First off, I found out that the gates open up an hour before the game starts. That’s good to know. Then I learned about the team store, it’s behind section 207 and it’s open during all Mets home games. Good, I was planning on checking it out. I wanted to buy a souvenir and I was happy to know that the store would remain open until the end of the game.

Anyway, back to the Piazza Club. It’s located on the Plaza Level. Once I got there, I was greeted with this huge, modern-looking space. It’s got a bunch of high-top and low-top tables, and also some comfy lounge chairs where you can just chill and relax. Plus, there are TVs everywhere, so you don’t miss any of the action even if you decide to sit down.

The best part? They have complimentary soft drinks, coffee, beer, wine, and even some basic cocktails! And it’s not just drinks. They have a wide variety of snacks and small bites, so you can grab something to munch on while you enjoy the game. I grabbed some food and sat in one of the comfy chairs to watch the game on one of the monitors. It was also a cool spot to just sit down and eat, especially since I had bought food in the park earlier. They also have private restrooms, which is always a plus at a crowded stadium. Oh, and there’s a full bar, too, if you want something a bit stronger.

I asked one of the staff if I could go in and out of the club whenever I wanted, and they said yeah, they just check your ticket to make sure you have access. It seems like they can make the space feel more intimate with some pipe and drape if needed, but for a regular game day, it’s just this big open area where you can hang out, eat, drink, and watch the game. I heard that the Hyundai Club, located in sections 115-120, might be better seats, but I haven’t tried it yet. Next time, I’ll consider it.

All in all, I had a great time at the Piazza Club. It was a nice place to take a break from the crowds, grab some refreshments, and still catch all the game action. If you get a chance to check it out, I definitely recommend it. But remember, this is just my experience, and yours might be different.
