Okay, so I’ve been seeing a lot of chatter online about when Ruthless mode will be back in League of Legends. I’ve been digging around myself, trying to find a solid answer. Here’s what I did and what I found out.
My Search Process
First things first, I started with the official channels. You know, the usual suspects.
- Checked the official League of Legends website. I scoured the news and announcements sections, hoping for some official word. Nada.
- Jumped onto the PBE (Public Beta Environment) client. Sometimes they test upcoming stuff there, so I figured it was worth a shot. No dice.
- Looked over my lol client’s main page.
Next, I hit up the forums and social media.
- I spent a good chunk of time browsing Reddit, especially the main League of Legends subreddit and the PBE subreddit. Lots of speculation, but nothing concrete.
- I also checked out Twitter, searching for mentions from Rioters or any official League of Legends accounts. Again, mostly just fan theories.
My Findings (or Lack Thereof)
Honestly? I didn’t find anything definitive. It’s all just rumors and guesses at this point. There’s a lot of people hoping it’ll be back soon, maybe with a specific event or as part of a rotating game mode schedule. But there is nothing offical being said from what I have found.
So, what’s the takeaway? We’re all in the same boat. We’re waiting and hoping, but for now, there’s no confirmed return date for Ruthless mode. I’ll keep my eyes peeled and update this if I find anything new, but for now we just have to be patient to see.
