Hey there, you wanna know about the Orioles game today on TV time, huh? Well, lemme tell ya, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout it down at the market. That baseball, it’s a big deal, ain’t it? My grandson, he’s always glued to that screen when the Orioles are playin’.
So, this game, they say it’s gonna be on that ESPN2 thingy. I don’t rightly know what that is, but it sounds fancy. Got somethin’ to do with that cable box, I reckon. Some folks also said you could watch it on that “Fubo”, but again with these names. It’s all a mystery. All I know is that if you have cable you might be able to watch it there.
They say this Orioles game today is a big one. Somethin’ called a “Wild Card Series”. Sounds kinda wild, don’t it? Like a bunch of wild animals runnin’ around. I asked, I did. “What’s a Wild Card?” I said. “Is it like them poker cards?” They laughed and just said it was an important game. You know these young people with their terms.
Now, I heard ’em sayin’ the Orioles game time today is, well, sometime today. Wednesday, I believe. They were sayin’ “Wednesday” a whole lot. So if you wanna watch it, you better keep your eyes peeled on that Wednesday. And this is for Game 2, whatever that means. They have so many games.
- Wednesday, that’s the day.
- ESPN2, that’s the channel, maybe.
- Fubo, that’s another place to watch, I guess.
- It’s Game 2 of somethin’ called the Wild Card Series.
This other thing, “MASN”, they kept sayin’ that too. Seems like that’s where you usually see these Orioles games on TV. Mid-Atlantic somethin’ somethin’. Sounds important. I guess if you live ’round those parts, you can see the game there. Lots of ways to watch the game, seems like. Too many for this old gal to keep track of, that’s for sure!
They also talked about “Moneyline” and “Total runs.” I just nodded along. Sounded like they were bettin’ on the game. -158, +133, 7.5 runs. What does it all mean? Beats me! Just numbers to these folks, I guess. Like them lottery tickets. Everybody’s always hopin’ to win big, ain’t they? I’m pretty sure one of them means how many points they are going to get, but I don’t know about these new-fangled things.
There are so many ways to watch the game, they say. Not like the old days where you either had an antenna on the roof or you didn’t. Now you got your “Hulu Live TV”, your “Vidgo”, your “Fubo” and who knows what else. It’s all too much. Give me a good old radio any day. At least I know how that works, these new things are too complicated.
My grandson, he tries to explain it to me, bless his heart. He says it has something to do with the “internet” and “streaming.” Lord only knows. Back in my day, streaming was somethin’ you did in the creek when you were fishin’! I think he said something about being able to watch it on your phone, can you believe it? These youngsters and their contraptions.
One thing’s for sure, though. These Orioles, they sure do get folks riled up. Everyone’s talkin’ about ’em. Even old Mary down the street, and she don’t know a baseball from a turnip! You can hear everyone yelling when there is a game on. Makes the whole neighborhood come alive.
So, if you’re lookin’ to watch the Orioles game today, I reckon you got plenty of options. Just gotta figure out which one of them fancy contraptions you got. Or you could just ask your grandkids, they’ll probably know. They know everything about these things! I just hope they win. It sure makes everyone happy when they do. Don’t know what we would talk about if it wasn’t for the Orioles.
