That Franz Wagner, he sure can play ball! I seen him in the Olympic games, oh boy, he’s something else. He’s a good boy, that one. Play for Germany, you know. Big team!
I hear folks talking ’bout his stats, all them numbers and such. Don’t know much about that, but I know he’s good. He can shoot that ball, whoosh, right into the hoop! They say he made 18 points in one game, and some steals too. I don’t know what a “steal” is in basketball, but it sounds good, I guess. Maybe like taking the ball from the other fellas. He must be quick!
He plays for some team called the Orlando Magic. Must be some kinda magic they do there, the way he plays! He’s number eight in that 2021 thing they do, picking the best players. Good for him! They even gave him a gold at the 2023 World Cup. That’s a big deal, I hear. Got more medals than I got teeth! Gold is good, just like corn in the summer.

He plays with all them other big fellas, running up and down. It’s a sight to see, I tell ya. He even helped beat the team from France, where they were having the games. Scored 26 points, they said. That’s more than I can count on my fingers and toes! He’s shooting that ball like a pro, 8 out of 13, whatever that means. Sounds like he’s good at getting that ball in the hoop, though. They say he makes about 1.6 of them “three-pointers” every game. Don’t rightly know what that means, but it sounds fancy. Must be something special he does with that ball. He’s got a good head on his shoulders, that boy. Playing in the Olympics is a big deal, you know. Not everyone gets to do that. It’s like winning the lottery, but with a basketball.
